Some secrets bury themselves deep.
Others claw their way out.
Journey prefers silence. No people. No noise. No sunlight.
But one trip into the foggy woods in her old hometown changes everything.
Inside a hollow tree, she finds a journal — frantic words scrawled across its pages begging for help.
She doesn't know the writer.
She doesn't know why the message feels personal.
But the nightmares are back.

A psychological thriller that explores the veil of evil and the perverse nature of people from the past.
"And something inside her is unraveling."

So, here I am. Sitting in this park. It's actually nice with the thick fog settled within the woods on the edge of the park. I try to stay away from the more populated areas where all of the people tend to be. I absolutely love where I am today. I find the benches along the walking trail to be the perfect location for my 'exposure therapy.' Zee, my counselor, doesn't have to know how secluded I truly am out here.

I probably shouldn't compare the evil within this town to the beauty of this area of the park. It is quite odd how the rest of the park is completely clear of the mist and fog. Maybe it's some sort of omen. Either way, I like this little bench sitting along the walking trail.

There is one tree that I am mesmerized by. It looks like a sycamore with the hollow down low in the trunk. There's something about it that just…calls me. I can't help but go to this tree and take a closer look. Then I see it — a journal hidden in the hollow of this beautiful tree. I'm so excited about finding this little treasure that I quickly sit back down to read it.
